A Prude

A Prude is not rude, nor ever could “BE”!

Like a straight-laced lady, he’s as fresh as can “BE”, Cautious and wise, not easily fooled, all that is prideful show;

Prim and proper, precisely affectionate, Esteem others better than self, less passionate;

But a bit stiff, formal and starchy, doing what is best, Up-staged by high-hat, conceited egotist;

Who’s off color stories, ill mannered display, Simply off-sets sentimental, self-conscience to stray;

“OUR” Father’s love, overwhelming “BE”, Holy right-in-us, for all to see,

Wary and cautious of suggestive speech, Off colored songs, not fit for a Queen;

Prune faced, he thins out the air, Jokes not funny, or proper, or fair;

Fleshy feelings exposed, to snare, Unbelief entrapped without a care;

Exposed and embarrassed, blush at first sight, unpopular upright words, to make everything right;

Misleading guidance into sin, forgiveness and cleansing, light within;

Deliverance from evil, he is able to forgive, Others misguided, thinking no evil to give;

Dried up prunes, the prude is free, To enjoy company of the King;

Forever faithful in power and glory, “BE”living the everliving story!
