SLEEP
“He finds them asleep.” Eyes heavy with anxiety, “What, could you not watch with me one hour?” Stay awake for You know not what hour I’m coming back. Will He find us too with nodding heads and closed eyelids? “BE” alert, heaven calls to tell us these Sacred secret place moments with You “OUR” Father how Special You are. We wait for times like these that are “Hallowed”. You name us after Your Son to “BE” part of Your family here. You tell us we belong, we are Yours, we hear Your voice and we follow You.
Doing and “BE”ing what You will, we are complete in You. We “BE”live the life of Your Son again in us. Heaven in these “earthsuits” on earth! Give us this day a taste of Your glory, Word from You. Show us what separates us from You so we can confess it and forsake it. We owe You holiness, for You are Holy. May we “BE” as forgiving with others as You are with us!
Lead us not to “BE” overcome with evil, but overcome evil with goodness, mercy and grace. Deliver us from the evil one. Wake us up to work out Your salvation with power and glory in endless love!
