We Say We Pray

Really, Do we? Why? This too shall pass. If not now, then when? What can we say? Do we have a prayer? How? Enough said!

“OUR” Father, You exist to show us the way to what is Holy. Deep down inside of each one of us is this need and desire to know You. OH, to “BE” like Thee, precious Redeemer, Savior and friend. Come in Your stillness, come in Your fullness. Stamp Your own image deep on “OUR” heart.

You calling us by name, to “BE” Your “BE”loved is beyond “OUR” imagination. We say what we think with all good intentions, but who are we to barge in where Angels fear to tread? Only You have, by all right, the right to rule and reign with all the right rules. We are paying attention! Your will known to feed us with hope of Your presence in today’s life’s situations. Your Word gives us light in dark days to see the way, the truth and the life.

How did we find “OUR”selves under these circumstances? We owe You for the “bail out” and for cleaning up this mess we’re in. We can’t look at “OUR” brother and think we are better than they. We are all standing in the need of prayer.

Warning labels on the pack of lies that cause the death of a nation give direction to the way out of “OUR” distress. Deliver us from the evil one set out to destroy.

Open “OUR” eyes and let us see, glimpses of truth You have for “WE”! Place in “OUR” hand the wonderful key that shall unclasp and set us free. Open “OUR” heart and let us rise and shine, Savior Divine!
